Made by hand, in a small village in Carlow, Ireland

James grew up in a musical family in County Carlow, music was the entertainment, the tradition, the heartbeat of the home. He never learned to read a note from a sheet. He didn't need to.

He began making whistles during the 2008 recession, refining his craft until the instruments were good enough to present to the Taoiseach of Ireland. In 2019 he opened his workshop to the world, and thousands of players found their sound.
